A recent post in the Orlando Reddit community alerted local renters to the RealPage rental settlement<\/strong>, and it is worth sharing.<\/p>\n\n

The lawsuit alleges that RealPage and participating property owners and managers violated antitrust laws involving multifamily rental pricing. The defendants deny wrongdoing, and the court has not determined who is right or wrong. Proposed settlements have received preliminary approval. If finally approved, they would create a settlement fund of approximately $359.9 million.<\/p>\n\n

    The settlement class generally includes people and entities who paid rent on qualifying multifamily residential leases at properties using specified RealPage revenue-management products between October 18, 2018 and November 21, 2025<\/strong>. Eligibility depends on the settlement terms.<\/p>\n\n
