Donna Mixon, Licensed Insurance Agent
Born and raised in Queens, New York, and now a longtime Floridian, Donna has built both a vibrant family life and a successful career in insurance. She and her husband Milton enjoy a blended family that includes five children—Latasha, Rashad, Arielle, Steven, and Philip—along with many grandchildren and even a great-granddaughter. Family gatherings are lively and full, with most of her children based in Florida and Steven holding down the fort in New York.
Donna entered the insurance industry at just 22 years old, drawn to the stability and importance of a profession people will always need. Outside of work, she embraces adventure and creativity—riding her Can-Am Ryker motorcycle, tending to her aero garden, and collecting Black memorabilia. Her perfect weekend blends simple pleasures and fun: breakfast at IHOP, thrifting with Milton, or recharging with Pilates and Musical Bingo. A lover of reality TV and classic movies, she finds balance between hard work, family, and joy in the everyday.
